Save your Disney Movie Rewards points for double day!

If you buy a Disney DVD or see a Disney movie in the theater, save your DVD points code or movie ticket for the Disney Movie Rewards program. There will be one more double points day before 12/31 and I will notify you of it!

In the meantime, here's how you can earn 355 bonus points.

Earn 100 points for completing a survey. Log into your Disney Movie Rewards account and click on Member Benefits along the top. Under that select earn bonus points and the offer to complete the survey for the 100 bonus points should be at the top.

Earn 5 points for reading the November Disney Movie Rewards Newsletter. There is a code at the bottom of the newsletter worth 5 points.

Earn 100 easy points. Just log into your account and click on the Blu-ray tab. Once you get there, skip the intro on the TV then press the Play All button. After the movie (which is really cute and stars Goofy) finishes, you will be credited with 100 points instantly!

Earn 100 bonus points. They have a scavenger hunt for 4 keywords worth 100 total points. Be sure to go here to get all the details about the game.

Earn 50 bonus points. Visit this link and look at what shape is used as the icon for Donation Rewards. Then log into your account and enter the name of that shape and get 50 bonus points!

I'm saving for 4 tickets to Disney on Ice. It's 5,000 points and I hope to have enough by November 2010!

Free Collectible Pin at Disney World

If you happen to be going to Disney World before the end of the year, they are currently offering a free collectible pin with the purchase of a $75 gift card.

The way this works, is the pin is attached to the specialty marked cards. You can use the gift card just like a credit card everywhere at Disney. Your hotel fees, restaurant bill, souvenirs etc.

At Disney, you can trade pins with cast members. They wear a lanyard around their neck full of pins and you swap one of your pins for one of theirs. My daughter had so much fun doing this on our trip. I bought our pins off ebay before going. We also bought 4 gift cards while we were there.

I keep them on a board in the kitchen as motivation to save for our next trip.

Lowes Build and Grow Clinic Saturday

Lowe's hosts their Build and Grow clinic every other Saturday from 10 -11 am. (Home Depot hosts theirs in the off week). Your child, 1st - 5th grade (my daughter is 5 and still does this), gets a build a neat wooden item and gets a patch for their apron and a pair of safety goggles.
