Elf on the Shelf -- One of my favorites!
The Christmas season is quickly approaching. Christmas trees will be going up soon and elves will begin arriving from the North Pole.
Wait?!? What?!? You haven't heard of Elf on the Shelf?
Elf on the Shelf is an elf and book set by Carol Aebersold (a friend of my aunt's). On Thanksgiving night, your elf arrives in your home directly from the North Pole. The elf bring with them the book Elf on the Shelf which tells their story and their purpose of being in your home. Each night while your children sleep, your elf visits the North Pole to report your child's behavior directly to Santa himself. He then returns to your home and picks a new, unique hiding place.
My children have so much fun waking up each morning and hunting for their elf. I use this site to come up with new and unique locations for the elves. I can not wait for our elves to return from the North Pole!

I have not heard of this, but it has GOT to be the most adorable thing I have ever heard of. I can't wait to start this tradition with my little girl (who is only 10 mo old) when she gets a little older. We have 2 Elves that I think will do just perfect! Thanks for posting!
