Here's the deal:

Santa Buddies: Get $5 back by mail WYB Santa Buddies and (2) participating Kernel Seasons product. (Exp 2/28/10)

Santa Buddies: Get $5 back by mail WYB Santa Buddies and a Butterball Frozen Turkey.

That makes the movie free!

Or you can do this deal at Toys R Us:

Buy Santa Buddies Blu-Ray/DVD -- $24.99

Receive an $8 discount from Toys R Us for buying both movies.
Plus since it's over $40 in Disney movies, you will receive a $10 gift card.
Total is just $8.98.

I wouldn't think that toys r us would give you a $10.00 gift card for purchasing $40.00 worth of disney movies, since your total would be $26.98 after all the coupons. If they did that would be great, but I would think that they would go by the amt. paid.
Correct me if I'm wrong because I would love to go there and get these great movies for my little ones.

Thankyou

I was also wondering the same thing about getting the $10 Toys R Us gift card. I just read their weekly ad and didn't see anything about getting a $10 gift card when you purchase $40 of disney movies. Did I miss something on the ad? I did read it on-line and it was kind of small, so maybe I did miss it. I'd love to know if that deal would really work that way before running all the way out to my Toys R Us.

Ok, so I just found the $10 TRU gift card when you buy any $40 worth of Disney movies in the Biggest Toy Sale book that runs through the 26th. The ad does not state whether the $40 has to be after all coupons or not. I think I'll call my store tomorrow and find out cause that would be such a great deal to get both movies for only around $9.

I see in the big book the Snow White movie being $24.99 not $16.99 where did you get that sale price from?

Thanks,

The sale price is from this week's sale paper, not the big book. And it is just for the DVD. The $24.99 is for the Blu-ray/DVD.

It doesn't matter if you use coupons or not. You will still get the $10 gift card. :)

Sorry Kristin, another question. Do you know if they apply the $8 discount for buying both movies first, and then you have to spend $40 on Disney movies to get the $10 gift card? Because, if they do, the total for those 2 movies would be brought down to $33.98 and you would have to buy another movie to get up to the $40. Did that make sense? Anyway, thanks for all you do to make us aware of such great deals. I appreciate all the time and effort you must put into all of this!!

Thanks.

My Toysrus doesn't have the Santas Buddies DVD/Blue-Ray combo. Darn and the coupon is only good for that one. Oh well... Thanks for the heads up!

I really don't know.... :(

As soon as there are reports tomorrow of people doing this deal, I will update.

Ok the TRU in Terre Haute, IN wouldn't allow the $10 gift card for buying $40.00 in disney movies. I think mainly because Santa Buddies was ringing up $29.99 not the 24.99 it was on sale for and snow white was ringing up 19.99 not 16.99 so they had to manually adjust the prices and just did a discount of $16.00 total to get them at the correct price, of course then she wouldn't give me the gift card because the total was less than $40 but that's ok. I still got them both for $10 w/tax after I used my $10 gift card from the Game night deal a couple weeks ago.

Ok,I just got back from my TRU in Florida and this is what happened...The prices (24.99 and 16.99) include the $8 instant discount. So, in reality the deal works like this:
29.99 Santa Buddies
19.99 Snow White
-$8 instant discount
-$10 Q
-$5 Q
Totaling $26.98 OOP and then they give you a $10 gift card. Still a good deal though.

Doesn't Best Buy have a similar program? Anybody tried that?

Mine was 29.48 out of pocket at TRU with both coupons and they did give me a $10.00 gift card as well. So still not a bad deal at all!
thanks!

I went to the same Toys R Us this morning and they gave me the $10 gift card. I don't understand why you didn't get it. It should go by the sub-total.
