Minniemizing for the Mouse 12.9.09

Do you have some unwanted pounds you need to shed? Need to get up and get active to feel better? Want to be in better physical shape before your trip to Disney? Then this post is for you!

I didn't do anything today.... I plan to make it up on Saturday. Hold me to it. :D

Definetaly got leg muscles moving today. Moved three computer and all parts from my bedroom up to the attic by myself. Wow, then went two flights of stairs for 3 sets of laundry.

This is my first minniemizing post. I spent 2 hours reorganizing the bedroom and moving around completely cleaning up everything. It truly is amazing how big dust bunnies can get under the bed with hardwood flooring! :) It feels great getting everything cleaned. Next stop, the kid's room!

I rode an exercise bike while reading my novel and then I hit the Zumba class. Love shaking the booty.

I walked and jogged for 45 minutes today.

Got my spinning class in this AM for 45 minutes and this evening went to kickboxing for an hour. I am so glad I did the Once-A-Month cooking since it now leaves me so much time to get my workouts in. Now I've got about 30 minutes to work up my grocery list and get my coupons gathered before it's off to bed.

oh boy what a day!! Lost power with the snowstorm and ran around trying to get the generator going so the cellar wouldn't flood! Used a lot of calories pulling that d@&!m pull cord tyring to get the thing going! Got it started just in time for the electricity to come back on! Used lots of calories in stress alone!

Missed the gym this a.m. due to a late night movie. BUT- I took my children along with two other friends kids to the playground. I chased around after them for 2 hours. I think that counts as exercise!

This is my first post. What a great idea! In lieu of exercising today, I took my 4 children (ages 9-16 mo.)grocery shopping with me at Wal-mart. May not count for much, but I felt like I had wrestled a bear! I'll try to do better tomorrow.

Today I played in the snow with my 3 year old. We built a snowman and had a snowball "fight".

My fitness center is doing an iron man triathalon. We've had the past three weeks to complete a full iron man - 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run. I still have 13 miles to run and about 1.5 miles to swim by Monday night! It's 'forced' me to maintain a fitness schedule during this chaotic time of year!

Last night I got my butt kicked doing Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred DVD! Feels great!

I did THE FIRM calorie blaster yesterday. Ugh. I'm trying to do one of each of their workouts each day. I would like to add in their Ab one every other day but I'm not quite there yet.

hit the gym after work last night.. did 1/2 mile warmup on the treadmill, then 2x 1mile - 1/2mile with a short walk/jog between the mile and the half mile, and a 3-4 minute walk break between sets, for a total of 4-5 miles. Then I lifted. I ran around doing errands after dinner, too, and then cleaned up around the house because I'll have company over tonight!

I was proud of myself, in that I got on the elliptical for 12 minutes this day. I haven't been on for over a week, taking care of a sick child, so I finally got some motivation back. I plan to go 20 minutes tonight (I hope.)

I did my first day of the 30 Day Shred by Jillian. Oh my word! I did this yesterday and my hiney and my belly hurt so bad today. I guess that's a good thing. Fixing to do my 2nd day after I read my email. I found a hashtag on twitter #30dayshred - nice way to be encouraged by others :)
