Olay money making rebate!

There is a new rebate available: Purchase any Olay Quench Body Lotion and get a full rebate by mail. It expires 2/12/10 and allows 2 rebates per household and it allows them to be sent in the same envelope and be on the same receipt!

There is a coupon in the 11/29 P&G: "Buy any Olay Body Wash and get any Olay Quench Body lotion free". It does not limit size or amount on the coupon.

Here's what you could do:

Walgreens has the 10 oz Olay Body Wash for $5.29.
The 20oz Quench lotion is $9.99.
Buy both and use the Buy any Olay Body Wash and get any Olay Quench Body lotion free coupon. You will pay $5.29 (plus tax) and then you can submit for a $9.99 rebate!

Here's a better deal you can do until Saturday:
Buy 2 20oz Quench lotions and 2 10oz Olay Body Washes. Use the 2 coupons. You will pay $10.58 but you will get a $5 register reward for spending over $25!

So after the rebate, you will make a profit of $14.58!

(Thanks Amy!)

I tried purchasing the body wash and the 9.99 lotion but I was told by the store manager (very rudely I might add) that I couldn't get the lotion for free because it was more than the body wash. I explained that the coupon did not list a price cap or have those limits but he wouldn't budge. Was the manager right? I left with my coupons without making a purchase bcause he was so rude. Any thoughts are appreciated. I love your blog!

No, the manager was NOT right. You are correct that the coupon does not list a max amount. He was making up his own rules. You can either go to another store or call corporate and complain. No one in retail should EVER speak rudely to you and if they do, go over their head and complain. Good luck!

I have had Walgreens Managers be rude to me as well as employees! For this reason, I am no longer shopping there! Plus, they are always get all flustered when I pull out my coupons!

I did this deal today but had to do the transactions separately, so I didn't get the 5 in RR. I'm not sure why, but the register kept beeping when we'd try to do it in one transaction. The first coupon would go, but when he would try the second it would say the other item wasn't there, and it would beep.

I probably could've asked for a manager and it could've easily been remedied but oh well-it's a good enough deal even without the 5 in RR. :)

My Wags made me buy the bigger size of body wash for 8.99. The manager couldn't get the coupon to work with the 5.29 item. I'm still happy with the deal!

I love my walgreens but all week i have gone and did seperate 25$ transactions and it HAD to be 25$ AFTER coupons, tax, anything.. or the machine would not print the 5$ RR. so for example tonigh i was at $48.50 with the lotions, and a few other items, with coupons, and such i as down to 24$, and it still wouldnt print the RR.. so not sure why some are printing it and some arent.. (for the 5 RR on 25$ purchase)

i've gone to wags 3 times this week, to get items on the 4day sale. my order only had to be over 25 before coupons. i noticed, my cashiers always hit total before they took off coupons, maybe this makes a difference so the register see it's over 25? i to, would call corporate on the way some of you were handled with the this deal or others. i had to do it one at cvs and kmart, and you won't believe how fast they were to solve the prob, esp when i said i'd stop going there and go to competitive store across the street! i think with the economical times, they can't afford to have customers turn from them. and besides if they aren't doing what the coupon or deals states, then they are guilty of false advertising.

can't wait to go and get this deal! i have 3 coupons!! so i'm excited as this is one product that truly relieves my dry skin.

also when i looked at the rebate it says 2/add/envelop and all must be summit together. it doesn't say anything about being separate transactions, so i can assume that the order can have 2 lotions to get that max amount right? did anyone else see that? i plan on doing 2 transactions since i have 3 coupons, and get some of the fillers with rr's so i can get 2 5rr's plus others! and then submit one rebate with my name/address and the other to my mom's.

thanks for the heads up on this!!

Do you think it's possible to use the B1G1 free coupon along with the $3 off coupon (it's next to it in the Marie Claire mag). does it count as one coupon per item or not?

Thank you soo much for this deal!!! I also think it's a great way to help spend $100 or more at Rite Aid for the $20 g.c. I'm going to use my 5/20 coupon to make it even better!(from the video values)

I would try to use both, because technically the B1G1 coupon doesn't say you have to pay full price for the item you are buying. Good luck!

Great job at Rite Aid!

Will they really rebate something you got for free? wont they see on the receipt that you got it for free? just wondering! i'm worried they wont rebate it.

i did do the deal but they had to do in two diff transactions so i got no $5 RR for spending $25!

The only item that doesn't give you the rebate when you get the item for free is Diabetes monitors. Other than that, I've never had or heard of a rebate being denied because you got the item for free. Good luck!
