Please Pray

My friend's sister just underwent an emergency c-section because she was having seizures due to pre-clampsia. Please pray that her sister recovers quickly and the baby is ok because it's about a month early. My friend is pretty upset since her sister is about 1500 miles away and she can't be there with her right now.

Update: The baby is here. She is a little over 17 inches and 4 lbs. Her heart and lungs are underdeveloped and they expect her to be in the NICU for 3 weeks. We don't know yet if the seizure the mother had caused any damage or not (to the mother).

I believe in the power of prayer! I will pray for mom, baby, and her loved ones. I hope they all have a truly joyous Christmas and blessed New Year.

I pray in the name of Jesus that all will be just fine. I pray that everything will be developed properly and working properly in that sweet baby's body. I pray peace over the mother b/c something like that can be so traumatic. And, I send the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to the mother and the family in Jesus' Mighty name. Amen!

It amazes me how small this world is ... You may be talking about a young lady in my play group! Wow! I just emailed to see if they could use a dinner one night next week. ((hugs)) for sis.

Now that would be so weird if I was! This lady is 36, it's her 4th child (first birth in 13 years though, her 3 year old is adopted), and she lives in New Mexico.

I know everything will be ok. I had preclampsa with my first and he was 2 months early. He stayed in the NICU for 2 months. It is amazing how much the hospital does to keep everyone alive and healthy. My son had to go thru a few blood transfusions and had to have a shunt in his head from bleeding in the brain but he survived and is normal as ever. He is now 10 and I am just so lucky that he survived everything. If she has any questions maybe I can answer them for her. Let me know.
