Wii at Walmart for $149 starting Saturday!
Starting at 8am this Saturday, the 5th, and running through Dec 12th (as if!) you can get a Wii for $199 with a $50 gift card back to Walmart. The system will cost you just $149.99 after the gift card. However, stores are only guaranteed to have 10 and trust me. There is going to be a lining forming for these things in the wee hours of the morning. So if you want to get one at this price, get there early!
I don't know how they will handle people that buy the Wii ahead of time and return it to rebuy at the new price. I will let you know more when I know more.
(Thanks Frugal Adventures!)

target had a pretty good deal on the wii and there were plenty. target coupons had a free nunchuck when you bought the wii. also you got a $20 target gift card when you bought the wii (now your up to $40 in savings because the nunchuck if a $20 value). I did the glade deal and got a $5 target gift card and I'm up to $45 at target with less hassle than walmart.
Just FYI, The sale on the Wii Doesn't Start till Sunday morning, Not Saturday (According the Wal-mart, & my mom who works at Wal-mart in electronics!)
Good point about the Target sale.
Meghan - For some odd reason, Walmart has been running their sales Sat to Friday during the holiday season. Here's the article from Yahoo: http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plugged-in/walmart-wii-won-t-make-wallets-wince/1378665
Odd huh?
Kristin,
It is odd, however, I suggest calling your local wal-mart to make sure they will be doing it on Saturday, My Moms Wal-mart (Apopka, Florida) has STRICT directions from store management to not do it until Sunday, because the Ad States Event Dates Sunday December 6-Saturday December 12
This might be a YMMV
Just wanted everyone to have a heads up, incase their store was strict about the "ad date"
I think Walmart just wants us to put our thinking caps on this Holiday season. I don't think this sale is actually part of the weekly event that starts on Sunday.

You can see the Wii advertised on that page.
Course I gave $249 for my Wii last year. Sad :(
