Minniemizing for the Mouse 10.27.09
Do you have some unwanted pounds you need to shed? Need to get up and get active to feel better? Want to be in better physical shape before your trip to Disney? Then this post is for you!
Monday - Friday I will be posting a new post titled Minniemizing for the Mouse (get it?). Comment below and let us know if you got in some physical activity today! At the end of 4 weeks I will be awarding one reader a $100 pot luck of awesome coupons as a reward for sticking with it. Good luck!
I worked out on the Wii Fit again today. I did not want to do it but I forced myself to because I knew so many of you were looking forward to this post. I did exactly 30 minutes.
I took a picture of my Mii and my Wii Fit age. It is 12 years older than what I am! Eeek!
My Mii was skinny until she got on the Wii. Then she ballooned up and fell over. HAHA!
Hopefully she will be smaller tomorrow.

I did 32 minutes, I didn't do the body test beyond the weight tho.
Have you ever tried Wii fit coach? It gives you a great workout...I love it. You don't need the balance board for it. But there are a variety of workouts. It is definitely not as much fun though.
No Wii Fit today for me, but I did walk at lunch.

my wii isnt working so i went walking today. i walked about 2 miles. pushing a stroller and carrying one in a side carrier. deff a work out!
Did you mean My Fitness Coach, Casey? I have that but only tried it once so far. I should try that again. I like the Wii Board and games tho.
Ok....Day 2! On a sad note, I gained 1 pound from yesterday's weigh-in. But on a happy note, the hubby was so impressed with me using the Wii again that he went out and got me the Wii Fit Plus! Tonight, I did 1 hour and 1 minute of workouts and I burned 107 calories. I have to say I like the Wii Fit Plus a lot better. Let's hope I don't gain weight tomorrow or I am going in the wrong direction!
I did yoga and walked, yay!
I rode my bike for 30 minutes. Stepped on the scale and it is down 3 lbs from when I went to the Dr on the 16th! Slowly but surely!

My local gym (Anytime Fitness) started a FREE three month trial program. You give them a $10 deposit and at the end of the 12 weeks, if you complete the program, you get your $10 back plus a chance to win lots of prizes (including$$). You have to commit to working out 3 times a week. So, I signed up for it! The program doesn't actually start until Nov.2, but I decided to get a jump start and I worked out on the elliptical machine 3 times today for a total of 50 minutes. That's 500 calories!!
