I went to my local walgreens last night for this deal and they had the john frieda voluminous hair spray on clearance for 3.49 So I only used the 3 dollar off walgreens coupon! I am looking forward to another deal like this soon!
Can you only get one or can you go back in and do the deal again if you have two printables??
I am going to Walgreens in a little bit and I printed off 2 of both the coupons. I am bringing both my girls with me and I am going to have them both pay separately and I may even try getting myself one. I think if there are seaprate transactions you can do it. I will try and let you know.
You can only print 2 of the $2.50 off coupons. Theres was a limit. Hope that helps. Not sure how many of the $3.00 ones you can do.
Thanks for this coupon deal!
You can buy two in one transaction with the two printable coupons and the Walgreens coupons will ring in at $6 because you bought two.
Thanks so much for posting this. I posted it for my readers as well. Merry Christmas!
I had a cashier who really scrutinized my coupons..the Walgreens $3 off coupon is actually a manufacturers coupons so when it beeped she called the manager over and they showed me the fine print that said manufacturer coupon..they wouldn't let me use both :( Normajean
Hi,
I did this at one Walgreens and they would not take the Walgreens coupon. It beeped and the manager would not even do it and they did not know why it would not work. I tried another Walgreens and they did do it , but it took a lot of work on the manager's part to make it work. It beeped there too. I looked at the coupons(I intended to do another deal with) and they said manufacturer's coupons. That means the Walgreen's coupon was a manufacturer's coupon. I feel very embarrassed at this mistake and I hope it doesn't mess up couponing at Walgreens in the future.
I had this happen to me earlier this afternoon. The cashier had to override the register and only gave me $3 off with the Wags cpn not the $6. I was wondering if it is because I bought the ones with the freebie shampoo along with it? Does anyone think that would matter, or is it truly a manufacturer coupon. I thought all manufactuer coupons were coded with a 5 or 9 and these start with 0.
At my Walgreens the deal wasnt for $5.99 it was $6.99 and I could only use the $3.00 coupon. So it did not work for me.
I just did this deal got 4 of each and 2 hairspray on sale for 3.19 all for 4.65. The only coupon that beeped was the 5 off 2 but she just had to enter the amount.
The register at my Walgreens also beeped when the cashier tried to scan the $3 off Walgreens coupon. He thought it may have been because I had picked up a bonus pack (with a free conditioner - the only package left on the shelf) and maybe the sku number wasn't the same and the coupon didn't recognize the product. He called the manager over, who was more than happy to override the price of the item to reflect a $3 savings, and the cashier then scanned my $2.50 manufacturer coupon. The item I bought was $6.49, so all said and done, I paid $.99 for a shampoo with a free trial size conditioner.
Sorry to all of you who couldn't get this because the manager wouldn't accept the coupon. I have a great store with great cashiers and managers.....I LOVE my Walgreens. I'm very lucky!!
I tried this last night. I got the shampoo and conditioner, and they were $6.99 each. I was able to use two $2.50 coupons, but they only allowed me to use one $3 Walgreens coupon. The register did beep, but the cashier just gave me the $3 discount anyway. I did get the bonus sample conditioner, though!
