The Best Least Expensive Hotel at Disney
When planning your trip to Walt Disney World, one of the first things you need to consider is where to stay. (After you chose your dates) Sure, you can stay off site and save yourself some cash. But the benefits of staying on site far, far outweigh the few dollars you will save. (The perks of staying on site include Disney transportation directly to each park via bus, extended park hours for resort guests and ability to purchase the dining plan to save on your meal costs.)
Disney hotels are broken down into 3 categories. Deluxe (Expensive!), Moderate (Still expensive!) and Value (Ah! Much better!). Pop Century fits into the last category along with All Star Music, All Star Movies and All Star Sports. Room rates vary by season but usually range $82 to $145 a night. When I went, I got the room for $76 a night on special.
We spent 9 nights at The Pop resort. The rooms are the standard sized room you would find in any hotel. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. They have a full service food court and 3 different resort pools. We definitely plan to return.
Please visit All Ears to read more about The Pop Century Resort. This post on The Dis is always very helpful.
