An Ironic Blessing
I mentioned earlier today that after my final coupon class at the library (I taught a 4 week series), we were going out to lunch at Cracker Barrel. We hadn't been in 6 months and we were so excited to go.
I even told my class about our plans and how to get one of the $5/$20 coupons for themselves.
After the class I was so surprised when the librarian gave me a $25 gift card to Cracker Barrel. How wonderful and ironic is that? She absolutely made my day!
I did not (and will not) charge for my coupon class. I was so happy to be able to teach all these wonderful people how to save money like I do. And this was truly a blessing to receive. There is nothing like a free lunch!

I think you mean coincidental... not ironic. There is nothing ironic about what happened. Thanks for teaching people to save money though!
That;s exciting. It's Karma. Good things happen to good people.
Good for you! You totally deserve that gift card for sharing your hard work and research with everyone.
What a nice surprise! I hope it made your lunch taste better knowing it was free:) When we go out to eat we don't enjoy it much because of the high cost and thinking of what we could have gotten with the money had we made our own meal. Kinda stinks being frugal sometimes, lol.
What a nice surprise!
Give and you shall receive : )
